Our Next-door Neighbors
Never a dull moment in our neighbor's yard! Yes, we've become voyeurs...

Summer 2005, the neighbors had a party tent and an inflatable pool. I didn't start taking pics until fall, but before the pool was covered, the water was turning green with algae.

Close up of the collapsed party tent, with upturned furinture.

Early December 2005 - the pool, now uncovered, freezes up during the first snow, forming an ice skating rink for local squirrels. Notice the party tent has been removed.

By mid-January, 2006, the pool is deflated. Notice the loaf of bread on the room of the shed.

May 2006, the pool and tarp just litter the yard.

June 2006, hours of early morning dog barking begs
my curiosity.

A cat! Are Zeus and this cat sworn enemies, or good pals?

Zeus tries a different angle.

Cat escapes to the BBQ.

Next morning, they're at it again, behind the shed.
It's officially a game, these 2 creatures are just playing.

Looking like a sacrificial lamb, Zeus often naps on
the table.

Will someone buy this guy some dog toys? Here he
is wrestling with an old mop. We often see him
digging through a trash bag, and long ago, we
witnessed him chewing on that old (deflated)
inflatable swimming pool!
