| Action-packed Weekend June 9-10, 2007 We did more this weekend than normal. I started it off with a trip to the Greenmarket for some fresh, locally-grown produce. Summer is a great time for fruits and veggies! Then we went to slam a tennis ball against the wall at a playground in Fort Green. On Sunday, we went to the MOMA to check out the impressive Richard Serra exhibit, walked by the preparations for the Tony Awards, and got caught in a bit of the wild and crazy Puerto Rican Day Parade. |

![]() This odd structure sitting at the entrance to Prospect Park is actually an art sculpture by Leonard Ursachi. It's called "Hiding Place" - it is made from willow branches, has three mirror windows. The idea is that viewers must imagine its interior, as it does not have a door, and the windows are reflective. Here's more about this work of art. |
![]() Matthew's been changing up his workout with some tennis - mostly hitting the ball against a wall for now. I've tried it a few times, and it's quite the workout! |

![]() On Sunday, we visited the MOMA to see the Richard Serra exhibit. It's quite impressive, as most of the pieces are quite large and heavy, given that they are made of thick steel. |
![]() There are two pieces outside in the museum's garden, as well as upstairs on the 2nd floor. |

![]() This is funny - museum visitors focused on the placard, not the art. |

![]() Just one block away, the Puerto Rican Dan Parade was in full swing (all day!), with thousands of people showing their PR pride. |
