After all the activity in SoCal, I made a quick detour to SF on my way back to NY. A visit with family and friends back home is a must-do for any trip to CA!
On Wednesday night, I had dinner with my family, including my newly-engaged brother and his fiancée. Congrats guys!
On Thursday night, it was happy hour at District Wine Bar. Lovely space, nice wine list, but far too popular and crowded for us! Anyway, Paul came out for a quick visit before running home to pack for a weekend trip.
This was only the first stop of a long, fun evening with Nikki and Laura!

After District, it was off to Chinatown for some karaoke at Bow Bow.
One group of people came in for just a few songs, but Nikki and Laura sang most of the night.
On Friday, I met Karen, Charli, Spring and Stella for lunch. Charli is a very happy little girl!
Stella has changed quite a bit since my first meeting, when she was only two weeks old. Check out her double chin!
