Happy birthday to me! We had our own little celebration on Thursday with dinner at Convivium, one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Since Mika and Dan were in town, we celebrated with them on Friday night. We headed to the Meatpacking District for dinner and drinks at Spice Market, then moved on to Garden Bar around the corner. I had a great time, but I suspect Matthew may have had a tad more fun!
On Friday morning, I woke up to a few inches of snow in the backyard, the first this winter that actually stuck.
But it had already melted on the street and sidewalk.
At Spice Market, Dan and Matthew talked shop while we waited for our food. Note that Matthew is on drink #2 in this photo.
