House cleaning includes turtle houses.

This weekend's task was house cleaning, including Turtle Baby's house. He seemed 100 times happier in clean water, with fresh food. Imagine that! Here he is posing for a close up.
He even popped out from under the tree to say hi!

His attempt to climb the rock failed in a moment of fright, when he realized he was being photographed by the paparazzi (me).
Back under the safety of the tree (this was shot thru the glass of the aquarium).
Turtle Baby eventually ventured out to the other plastic trees in his habitat.
Later, he took a stroll over to the big rock, but we have yet to witness him basking on top, as he's supposed to do.
At least he's spending less time under the rock!
