“No Habla Ingles”
UGO Entertainment on Good Morning America!
Last summer, after I was quoted in a NY Post story about freezing temps in offices, the producers from Good Morning America came to UGO to shoot a segment on the same topic. I was out of the office when they came, so missed my shot at TV fame, but a lot of my coworkers were interviewed. Unfortunately it didn’t air in the weeks following, so most of us forgot about it. But this morning, there it was, in all its GMA glory! Click on it to go to the story and watch the segment.
Spring Has Finally Arrived in NYC
After many weeks of mostly rainy days, spring has finally arrived in NYC, just in time for the long weekend. On this particularly beautiful day, I took a walk through Washington Square Park, which recently reopened after months and months of construction. It was the perfect day to sit outside enjoying lunch, listening to live jazz, and enjoying the sun.

This live band was fantastic, I hope they play the park regularly!

Of course, what’s NYC without a little crazy? This guy was running around the fountain and yelling like The Hulk.
What Happens In Atlantic City…
We took Cheryl to Atlantic City to celebrate the end of her single days. In less than two weeks, our dear friend will be marrying the love of her life, and what better way to send her off into marital bliss than with a girls weekend in the east coast’s version of Las Vegas! This was my first trip to the land of tacky fashion, bachelor/bachelorette parties and salt water taffy, and AC did not disappoint. We had a blast, and we wish Cheryl and Joe all the best in their future together!

When the fog cleared in the late afternoon, this was the view of the ocean from our hotel suite.

What’s a bachelorette party without a little theft?

A lovely (stolen or just borrowed?) bouquet for our lovely bride!

New Jersey fashion in all its glory.

The hat shop that wouldn’t allow photos inside. Party poopers!

Back at our hotel bar, Heather got some pointers on her billiards technique.

The night ended with a game of Apples to Apples, our new favorite game!
Another Birthday Celebration
Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to meeee, Happy Birthday to me! I had a wonderful birthday celebration this past weekend at Macao Trading Co., a new restaurant in Tribeca. First was a dinner with Nicki, Heather and Lori, then drinks downstairs in the lounge with more friends. Thanks to my amazing friends for venturing out on a snowy night to party with me!

Birthday flan (would you believe they ran out of cake at 8:30pm?)

Nicki, looking sassy in her legwarmers, drinking a Mr. Funk cocktail.

Naughty artwork everywhere in the lounge, including the bathrooms.
