New Year’s Eve in SF was cold and rainy, and I was nursing a cold, but that didn’t stop me from ringing in the new year with friends. After a casual pizza dinner, we headed over to a friend’s house for champagne and a little Dick Clark. Here’s to a fantastic 2011!

This year, Dad turned 70, but you’d never know. As a belated birthday celebration and gift, we bought him a season pass to Kirkwood and took him out for a day of skiing. There had been a lot of snow the week before, and even some the night we drove up, and the sun was out while we were there. Dad can still keep up with his kids on the slopes! What a perfect day!

We celebrated Christmas day with the Louie side of the family this year, so on Christmas Eve, we had Deirdre’s cousin Amy and her family, as well as friend Paul (a.k.a. Uncle Paul) over for dinner. Corin loves playing with the big boys, and they are so great with their little cousin. Christmas is definitely for kids!

Another year, another wonderful holiday season. My office was closed from the 24th through the 3rd, so I took advantage and went to CA for ten whole days! I spent most of them with some combination of family. Check it out!
