I don’t know why, but I often forget to take pictures with my grandma. I am good at remembering to call her regularly, and I love to brag about her, but I don’t have a lot of photos with her from the last few years. So here’s the first in a while - me, Pau Pau and Mom at brunch in Burlingame before my flight back to NYC last month.
Twenty Years Later…
I was dreading my 20-year high school reunion, even though I missed the 10-year reunion. Seriously, I graduated 20 years ago, I’m so old! But it turned out to be pretty fun, catching up with old friends in person, rather than just on Facebook. In fact, there were some people I hadn’t been in touch with at all since high school. The party was held at the lovely Mark Hopkins Hotel in Nob Hill, and everyone looked great. I can’t say I’m really eager about the next reunion, but this was a good time.

Dinner For One
Work has been nuts, which means less cooking and eating at home. But this is one of my new obsessions: roasted tomato soup with avocado toast. Super easy recipe for the soup, and with a whole grain bread, this makes a very healthy meal!
