My Cute Little Marionette
Corin got a new toy this week. It’s a Jumperoo, so he can get jump and bounce and dance all day long. It’s got a little seat so he can rest his chubby legs, and some toys for his entertainment, and it looks like it’s suspended by strings. So this week’s video chat stars Corin as a marionette. I just can’t stand the cuteness. I might need to make a trip to CA very soon.
A Perfect Summer’s End
I had so much fun the first time, I couldn’t resist an invitation to go back to the Hamptons for Labor Day Weekend. Heather, Einat and I took off Friday afternoon for the long weekend. This time we stayed in Wainscott, not far from where I’d stayed two weeks before. We started off with a fun night at Trata, which has amazing food, and we met some fun and interesting people. The next day, we went to a pool party at an amazing house in Sag Harbor. And Sunday was a mellow day of brunch, shopping in East Hampton, and a great night at Surf Lodge. It was the perfect ending to summer, and we can’t wait to go back next year!

The Hamptons, And The Celebrity Siting of a Lifetime!
It’s been almost five years since I moved to NY, and as much as I have loved exploring and experiencing everything in NYC, I had never made it to the Hamptons. So in mid-August, my friends and I drove out to the eastern beach towns I’d read and heard so much about. My first trip turned out to be quite the adventure - the beach, delicious seafood, girlfriends, and the celebrity sighting of a lifetime, meeting Sir Paul McCartney! Yep, you read right, I met the former Beatle, and best of all, I found him to be friendly and gracious. What an amazing weekend!

Sundays With Corin
Today was Corin’s big debut - his red egg and ginger party, held at the same restaurant where his mommy and daddy held their wedding reception. He got to meet lots of our aunties and uncles, cousins, and friends of our parents, plus friends of his own parents. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it, but this gave him lots to tell me about in our Sunday video chat. Here he is, freshly diapered and sporting his fancy outfit, telling me what a good party I missed!
