Farmers Market Bounty
I’m addicted to farmers markets. Even when I travel in other cities and other countries, I’m a sucker for an outdoor produce market. The food is fresh and seasonal, and it comes from farmers nearby, so not only am I eating healthier and helping the environment, I’m supporting local business. In NY, the selection is limited in the colder months, but summer brings a bounty of wonderful fruits and veggies. Here’s what I bought this weekend: Jersey, yellow and sungold cherry tomatoes, garlic, onions, zucchini, basil, kale, and blueberries. Yummy!
