It’ll be another couple of months before I’m able to meet baby Corin in person, so for now we have to settle for video chats. Thank goodness for modern technology! Here’s the little guy after a bath, getting ready for his first Memorial Day BBQ with his grandparents. Wish I could be there!
Spring Has Finally Arrived in NYC
After many weeks of mostly rainy days, spring has finally arrived in NYC, just in time for the long weekend. On this particularly beautiful day, I took a walk through Washington Square Park, which recently reopened after months and months of construction. It was the perfect day to sit outside enjoying lunch, listening to live jazz, and enjoying the sun.

This live band was fantastic, I hope they play the park regularly!

Of course, what’s NYC without a little crazy? This guy was running around the fountain and yelling like The Hulk.
Snow in May?
Nope, just a scene for a movie being shot on Bond St., around the corner from my office. The crew were laying down white foam and spraying it with water to imitate melting snow. Movie magic!
What Happens In Atlantic City…
We took Cheryl to Atlantic City to celebrate the end of her single days. In less than two weeks, our dear friend will be marrying the love of her life, and what better way to send her off into marital bliss than with a girls weekend in the east coast’s version of Las Vegas! This was my first trip to the land of tacky fashion, bachelor/bachelorette parties and salt water taffy, and AC did not disappoint. We had a blast, and we wish Cheryl and Joe all the best in their future together!

What’s a trip to Atlantic City without a stop at James’ Salt Water Taffy?

One of many bachelor parties roaming the shops of the Tropicana

When the fog cleared in the late afternoon, this was the view of the ocean from our hotel suite.

What’s a bachelorette party without a little theft?

A lovely (stolen or just borrowed?) bouquet for our lovely bride!

New Jersey fashion in all its glory.

The hat shop that wouldn’t allow photos inside. Party poopers!

Back at our hotel bar, Heather got some pointers on her billiards technique.

The night ended with a game of Apples to Apples, our new favorite game!
