Our 2nd day in Rincon started with a swim. We’d heard reports of a rainy weekend, and we were determined to get the most from the sunny morning. We attempted snorkeling at another beach, just up the coast, but the weather quickly turned on us, and the water became wavy and not very clear for watching fish. Before the rain started, I was able to capture a few underwater shots with my fancy new waterproof case. And of course, we ended the day with a fantastic sunset.

I stalked this school of fish for that perfect shot. This is as good as it got.

Once the storm started, the sky (and the water) got dark, and the water became choppy and picked up lots of sand, making it tough to see anything under water.

Last of the coral and sea fans before we had to get out of the water.

Back at the apartment, we saw this gorgeous rainbow.

Another view from the apartment building.
